We're delighted to be working with Swiss singer, songwriter and performer NNAVY as she prepares to release her debut album, “I'll Wait For You”, on October 30th via NNAVY Records through Absolute Label Services. Led by acclaimed first single "Slowly Burning" and the forthcoming "Late Nights", the album is an intimate collection of songs exploring grief, resilience, desire and self-worth, blending soul, jazz and contemporary R&B into a body of work that transforms deeply personal experiences into something universally relatable.
Released in June, "Slowly Burning" introduced the emotional landscape of the album with a soulful reflection on finding hope and joy amidst uncertainty, while "Late Nights" explores attraction, vulnerability and the desire to be seen and loved for one's whole self, confronting the experiences of Black women navigating the Western dating landscape. Together, the two singles offer a compelling introduction to an album that is both deeply personal and quietly powerful. The campaign has already gathered significant momentum. Securing editorial support across Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Vevo and Claro Música, as well as a Vevo DSCVR promotion.
The track has also received more than 300 radio plays across 26 stations, reaching a cumulative audience of over 14 million listeners through support from SRF 3, SRF Virus, RTS Couleur 3, RTS Option Musique, RFI, Jazz FM and CT das radio, alongside press coverage from The Line of Best Fit, Stereofox, FrontView, Concert Monkey and IGGY Magazine.
This latest chapter builds on an impressive independent career that has already seen NNAVY surpass 40.5 million streams, release four critically acclaimed EPs, win both the TATAKI Award and the Swiss Music Award for Best Act Romandie, perform for COLORSxSTUDIOS and appear at the Montreux Jazz Festival for three consecutive years, including opening for Lionel Richie. Along the way, she has shared stages with Arlo Parks, Ben l'Oncle Soul, Alfa Mist and November Ultra, while completing an ambitious 60-date independent tour in 2024 without the support of a record label.
Beyond the music, I'll Wait For You has been developed as a fully realised creative world. Built around the album's cool, bright and whimsical visual identity, the campaign extends across a beautifully designed range of vinyl, CD and exclusive merchandise, creating a cohesive experience for fans. The album will be distributed commercially across key territories, while the full collection will also be available worldwide through NNAVY's direct-to-consumer store.
